The iPad version can also run on a Mac desktop or Apple Vision Pro.
You can try to control this app via Voice control on iOS 13+ - for further info see - Control iPhone with your voice
You need ipadOS 14+, scribble, and a supported pencil device (inc. apple pencil)
Can be seen via Settings,Accessibilty, Live Speech, Voices (click on current voice, to see the list under English. Novelty list is the bottom list (starting with Albert, and ending with Zarvox.)

Plus you can create your own personal voice to use with this app.
- Support for Light/Dark Appearance - selectable under Display & Brightness in Settings
- AirPlay Audio support - allowing the user the option to send the audio to another device such as Apple TV /AirPlay compatible speaker or device.
- Save output to m4a/caf/wav/aiff file
- Share saved audio file.
- Supports Personal Voice (iOS 17+), if permission granted. Currently allows playback only (inc. via AirPlay option).
- The ipad version can run on supported Macs
In Robot Talk, you can click on the AirPlay button on the main screen.
This will then display an AirPlay Audio button on the screen
Next click on this button to switch between your iphone/ipad, and an AirPlay compatible device
Please note, if you have loads of compatible devices, it takes longer for them to be loaded onto the list
Firstly, click on the Settings icon
Next click the option labelled 'Accessibilty'
Next click on the option labelled 'Spoken Content'
Next click on the option labelled 'Voices'
On the voices screen, you selected the language you want first.
Next, you will see a list of voices for that language grouped by nationality e.g English will group by UK, US,Australia/Spanish will group by Spain/Mexico, etc..
Next, select the voice you are interested in
Next you may get a selection of voice options to download.
Firstly, on your device click on the settings icon
Next select the option labelled 'Display & Brightness'
At the top of the screen there is a section labelled 'Appearance', with two manual options Light or Dark.
